Beach Bound!

Despite the horrible news we were hearing about the gulf coast line and the damage the oil might be doing to it's beaches, Adalyn's first trip to the beach HAD to be to Destin. My family has been going to Destin since I was in 8th grade. Local favorites like it's sandy white beach, The Back Porch, Callahan's, and the Candymaker are one of a kind. My parents rented a large house in Miramar Beach in late July, then Mommy and Adalyn took off to meet them! Daddy stayed behind to work this trip. So in total we had Gigi, Doc (Poppa), Mema, Papa, Beth, Brittany, Uncle Jake, Missy, and Skeeter! Here are some pictures from our fun week:

Since the pediatrician's nurse recommended against being in the pool at this young age, we let her play on the back porch next to the pool with her activity mat and she loved it!
