Nursery Preparations Part 1

Last weekend, Nashville saw it's first winter snow. This weekend, the snowball continued to roll at the Malloy house. Ryan has been busy the past couple weeks painting the nursery, painting the bonus room, and ripping up all the carpet in the house. Our house has been a complete wreck- all the furniture from three rooms finding a temporary home in our den and dining room. We were waiting on new carpet to put it all together and this weekend it finally went in. My mom's carpet guy from Athens drove up with his two sons to carpet our bedrooms and bonus room. It looks great! We were also grateful to have them with us to help move furniture upstairs- apparently Rooms to Go furniture delivery service doesn't include brains or motivation to keep their job (ask me about it sometime if you want to know what happened- in the meantime I recommend not going with their delivery service- what a joke).

My Mom, Dad, and brother also came up to help move furniture and help put our house back together. The most fun part of the weekend was finally seeing the nursery start coming together! Here is the progression of the office to nursery conversion so far:

We are so excited about the nursery and very thankful for all the help we had this weekend putting it together. We can tell Adalyn is excited about it too because she's really been active this weekend. If you watch my stomach long enough, you can see her little punches of approval. :) Happy New Year!!
