Adalyn turns 5 months old today. I must have blinked because I don't know how we are here so fast! Getting back in the swing of things at work, then all the sickness we've had has really taken time away from us. We are looking forward to a healthier fall with this great immunity everyone tells us we are developing. In the meantime, we are really enjoying our time with our little girl- she is more and more fun each week. Some of her milestones this month:
- Loving her activity center - making the toys move, play songs, and of course putting them in her mouth
- Rolling to both sides
- More talking!- the daycare workers tell us she talks like an older baby
- Smiling a TON when we sing songs to her
- Playing with her feet
- Turning the pages of books
- Learning to take medication with a syringe- she's a champ at it now!
We've also discovered she doesn't respond to amoxicillin so we will be asking for stronger antibiotics from now on. And she has had a little bit of formula this month mixed in with her breast milk because I didn't have enough frozen for when I was sick. Next month, we are looking forward to starting solids as soon as she's done with her antibiotics!
Here are some pictures of our 5-month-old. Happy 5 months, baby girl (aka sweetie pie, little stinker, pumpkin head, chubby cheekes...)!!!
