Gigi's Nesting

Apparently there is a phenomenon called "grandmother nesting" that is common for first-time grandmothers. My mom has purchased land phones for beside her bed just in case I call in the middle of the night and she can't find her cordless. She's replaced her night-time driving glasses, got a cable to listen to her ipod in the car, and got the new iphone so she can take photos and videos of the baby. Oh, and we need to add the Flip to the list also- something my dad wanted to take short videos of Adalyn when she gets here!! When my mom posted this to her status on Facebook, all her grandmother friends agreed with her. Too funny!

We went to Athens this weekend so I could celebrate my good friend Nadine's engagement- she's getting married July 10 luckily in great timing for me to lose all the baby weight. Ryan and I set up our registry at Rattles and Rhymes, a cute little store in Athens that we fell in love with during their Black Friday specials. We were also fortunate to spend a session with our good friend, Neal Reeves, and his wife Samantha taking some maternity pictures. Neal is a friend of ours from college who has a wedding photography business so we broke him into the world of maternity pictures. We can't wait to see the pictures!
